Our Facility

We offer a comprehensive full-service rehab programme by a team of professionals, including medical detoxification and withdrawal, individual and group psychotherapy and spiritual guidance, as well as relapse prevention and creativity development. The rehab programme has a strong personal approach as each patient receives individual attention. Psychological development through individual and group sessions with the psychologist forms an indispensable part of the programme.

Ramot provides a holistic alternative to traditional rehabilitation programmes. We see the bigger picture and don’t just treat the symptoms or provide a safe place for chemical dependents to detox and go on their way again. Instead, we use treatment intervention methods that focus on the whole person: body, mind and soul.

Nutrition and health education are also viewed as essential and in-patients are taught that they are, indeed, what they eat. Patients are coached in relaxation techniques and life skills development, while our biokineticist presents a training programme to aid physical recovery and development.

An educational programme provides important information about drug and alcohol addiction. Patients can also benefit from professional family and marriage counselling services. Aftercare planning and support groups are available to help patients and their families stay on the road to recovery after their discharge from the rehab centre.

The facility is is located in Parow East, Cape Town, but we accept inpatients from anywhere and even have collection points for patients arriving at Bellville train station and Cape Town International Airport.
